Gone are the dark, monotone log cabins; they have been refreshed with a vibrant color palette, incorporating shades such as blue, tan, green, and orange-red. The new design stands out against the natural backdrop and immediately feels more contemporary.
Despite being erected on the same foundations as their predecessors, the new cabins feature contemporary patio furniture and improved entrances, including elevated outdoor wood decks, which enhance the guest experience before even stepping inside. Each cabin can accommodate two vehicle parking spots, further catering to families traveling with multiple forms of transportation.
Stepping inside, the most striking transformation is the abundant natural light. The newer, slant-roofed design allows for clerestory windows throughout the living and dining areas, alongside expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. This influx of daylight creates a warm and airy ambiance, making the 504-square-foot interiors feel much larger than they are. The open layout combines a kitchen, dining table, and lounging area outfitted with modern amenities, including a wall-mounted TV.
While Disney suggests a maximum occupancy of six adults, the cozy layout seems better suited for families of four or five. It provides sufficient accommodations for kids, with their own bunk beds and a hidden Murphy bed in the living area that optimally utilizes the cabin space.

While the air-conditioned interiors are a much-appreciated amenity during the sweltering Florida summers, there is only a single operational opening window for cooler months—a consideration that could affect comfort during off-peak seasons.

The nearby main dining hall, tavern, and convenience store provide substantial amenities while guests can also partake in a variety of activities, from carriage rides to fishing excursions. Evening entertainment includes the well-loved “Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue” dinner show.
